Breaded Whitefish

A breaded fish recipe that is simple and yummy!

Ingredients

  1. 2 - 4 filets of your favorite whitefish (Tilapia, Mahi Mahi, Sole, Cod, etc.)
  2. 1 egg
  3. 1/2 package Whisps
    whisps
  4. 1 package Pork rinds
    pork rinds
  5. 3 tbsps Almond flour
  6. Paprika to taste
  7. Pepper to taste
  8. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  9. Butter

Instructions
Put the Whisps and Pork Rinds in a blender / food processor and blend until you get a coarse mixture. Alternatively you can put them in a plastic bag and roll them with a rolling pin.

On a large plate mix the ground Whisps / Pork Rinds with Paprika, Almond flour and pepper.
Home made breadcrumbs
Whisk the eggs and pour onto a separate plate.

Dip each filet in the egg mixture, making sure you get both sides covered.
Then dip each piece in your dry mixture, coating both sides well.

Heat the Olive Oil and Butter in a frying pan and fry the fish until well done.

Serve with Brussels Sprouts or your favorite low carb side dish.

Notes
This breading works well for so many things! I always make extra and freeze it in ziploc bags for later use.
