Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  1. 2 lbs Brussels Sprouts
  2. 5 strips Bacon
  3. 1/2 Fennel bulb (optional)
  4. Salt & Pepper
  5. Paprika
  6. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  7. Balsamic Glaze

Instructions

Cut the root tip off each Brussels Sprout and remove the outer layer of leaves.
Clean and cut Fennel into small pieces.
Cut the Bacon into small pieces.
Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and layer the sprouts, fennel and bacon on the cookie sheet.
Drizzle liberally with Olive Oil, then sprinkle with Paprika, Salt & Pepper.

Cook in the oven at 375 F for 40 to 50 minutes. Stir them up with a spatula after 30 minutes.

Remove from oven and drizzle with Balsamic Glaze.

Notes
Also makes a nice appetizer instead of a side dish.
