Chefs Salad

A little bit of everything makes this one hearty salad!

Ingredients

  1. Green leaf lettuce (or Romaine, or Butter Letuce)
  2. 2 hard boiled eggs, cut in half
  3. Black olives, as many as you like
  4. Cold cuts, whatever you have handy
  5. Hard cheese, or whatever cheese you like
  6. 2 Medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
  7. Fresh herbs (parsely or chives)
  8. Salt and Pepper to taste
  9. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  10. Balsamic Glaze (reduced Balasamic Vinegar)
    Balsamic Glaze

Instructions

Starting with a layer of washed and coarsely cut lettuce, create alternating layers of the other ingredients.
When you have the salad nicely layed out, sprinkle generously with the herbs. Drizzle olive oil and Balsamic Glaze over the salad and serve.

Notes
Leftover meat, whether that's steak, pork, chicken or something else, makes a great replacement for the cold cuts. Just warm it up a little bit, cut it into small pieces and throw it on!
