Schnitzel

A breaded meat recipe that is as easy as it is tasty!

Ingredients

  1. 8 Pork cutlets / Chicken breasts / Veal cutlets, tenderized
  2. 2 eggs
  3. 1/2 package Whisps
    whisps
  4. 1 package Pork rinds
    pork rinds
  5. 3 tbsps Almond flour
  6. Paprika to taste
  7. Pepper to taste
  8. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  9. Butter

Instructions
Put the Whisps and Pork Rinds in a blender / food processor and blend until you get a coarse mixture. Alternatively you can put them in a plastic bag and roll them with a rolling pin.

On a large plate mix the ground Whisps / Pork Rinds with Paprika, Almond flour and pepper.
Home made breadcrumbs

Whisk the eggs and pour onto a separate plate.

Dip each piece of the tenderized meat in the egg mixture, making sure you get both sides covered.
Then dip each piece in your dry mixture, coating both sides well.

Heat the Olive Oil and Butter in a frying pan and fry the meat until well done.

Notes
This breading works well for homemade chicken fingers!
