Jaeger Schnitzel

Schnitzel with a creamy mushroom sauce! Amazing!

Ingredients

  1. 6 to 8 Pork cutlets / Chicken breasts / Veal cutlets, tenderized
  2. Paprika to taste
  3. Salt & Pepper to taste
  4. Extra Virgin Olive Oil / Lard
  5. 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  6. 1 tsp Knorr soup mix
    salad seasoning
  7. 200 ml whipping cream
  8. 1 tsp Ground Chia Seed

Instructions
You can buy tenderized pork in most stores, but you may need to flatten it some more with a mallet.
You want the meat to be very thin.
Dry the cutlets well with a paper towel.

Heat the Olive Oil in a frying pan and fry the meat until well done, spicing with Paprika, Salt & Pepper.
Set aside the cutlets you will use for later meals either in the refrigerator or freezer.

Using the oil leftover from frying the meat, fry the mushrooms for 3 to 5 minutes.
Add the soup mix, chia seeds and cream to the frying pan and mix well.
Cook until the sauce thickens, stirring vigorously and often.

Serve with cauliflower mash and salad.

Notes
Simply cut up and boil a cauliflower, drain and mash with butter, salt & pepper to taste.
Simple and delicious!
For an extra hit of flavour, add whatever cheese you like.
To thicken it up, add some Ground Chia Seeds if needed.
